trying is the first step towards failure

Idiotus has been going through a mid life crisis for the past, err, forty years.

As part of his continued commitment to reject aging gracefully, he has made it a habit to always be “in the know” of hip and young things. Like listening to the ghettoest rap, getting an Xbox along with the ubiquitous Dance Dance Revolution pad (uh, girly man), talking about his MySpace page (sweet Jesus), swaping porn pictures with other, um, elderly folks, and now blogging. A bit late in the game. Top scientists agree that his favorite spot in the universe is atop the crest of the last wave.

So Idiotus got a permanent column in an industry blog…somehow. All his friends, as it is customary in the VC world, where affairs are mostly conducted from the business end of a penis, promptly posted comments praising  Idiotus’ wit, kindly ignoring the fact that all the firms he has founded haven’t had a worthy deal in…let’s round it down and call it…since they were founded.

Now, Idiotus’ most prized garment is his cloak of superiority. Yet, as all of his former, present and, um, future employees know, this inflated sense of importance is not backed by anything of substance. It’s not all his fault though. Save for a very few vocal and courageous souls, the rest of his entourage has done everything in their power to keep him sheltered in his cloud nine domain.

Until now.

His baby of a blog, has generated more hateful and snarky responses than other blogs collect in a whole year. For the past week, Idiotus has been looking rather blue; no doubt, in total disbelief that not everyone thinks he’s the second coming of Christ.

Not to be mean, but when he’s feeling down, he doesn’t think of stupid crap for me to do so it follows that, I’m feeling up. So, welcome to the blogosphere!
